The original platform was developed on the Adobe Flex / Flash platform. We allowed multiple live streams of NFL games in realtime.
Working closely with backend server teams to design a solution that would perform with the highest performance and uptime possible.
The NFL was so pleased with the platform that we ended up developing additional features for multiple seasons.
Eventually, as technology changed over to HTML5 video streams we had to hire a brand new development team from the ground up and get them up to speed in just a few short weeks to deliver an entire new experience for the new season to come. We not only launch a new HTML5 based streaming experience but we led additional teams within the Directv engineering department to launch the NFL sunday ticket app across iOS and Android platforms.
This is the product that played a pivotal part in Lavon winning the CTO award at ATT which eventually acquired Directv.
